HPNR is a proud supporter of JustServe.org, a non-profit organization that allows volunteers to join together in community service opportunities. We partner with other local organizations and community members to make a meaningful impact for our neighbors in need. Through JustServe projects, our goal is to bring about positive change to the community we live and work in.
HPNR is also a member of the Rotary Club of Bakersfield. Club members are comprised of the city’s most prestigious business leaders to collaboratively address issues that directly impact our community, such as hunger, education, and job training. The Rotary Club serves the community through various projects, including Interact, the AVID Program, Character Counts, Rolling Readers, Salvation Army Bell Ringing, the Bridging Program, and the Watermelon Foundation. It also provides college scholarships to five local high school seniors each year.
